We went on holiday with John and my Mum (Rosemary) to Cornwall about 7 years ago and whilst there we visited a local pub, the Logan Rock Inn at Treen. John went for the fish dish unsurprisingly, which I think was locally caught mackerel. The landlady came to our table and asked us if we were enjoying our meal. John, who was very disappointed with the size of the fish on his plate, told her that according to the European fishing regulations his fish was much too small and should have been thrown back into the sea when it was caught..
